A new fan campaign has launched in Japan inviting fans to celebrate their love and memories of Michael Jackson, while also getting a chance to win exclusive merchandise from the upcoming Michael movie.

Titled the “I Love ♥ Michael Campaign”, the initiative encourages fans to share their personal stories, memories, and appreciation for the King of Pop on social media. Participants are asked to include the hashtag #アイラブマイケル (#ILoveMichael) and can post their messages alongside photos or videos. Even short written memories are welcome, making it easy for fans of all kinds to take part.

The campaign is tied to the Japanese release of the film Michael, which is set to hit theaters on Friday, June 12. As part of the celebration, organizers are collecting fan submissions as a tribute to Michael Jackson’s enduring legacy and global impact.

How to Participate

Fans simply need to:

  • Share their love or memories of Michael Jackson

  • Include the hashtag #アイラブマイケル (#ILoveMichael)

  • Optionally add photos or videos

  • Ensure the hashtag appears within the first 140 characters if posting a longer message

Campaign Period

The campaign runs until July 31 at 23:59 (JST).

Prizes

Selected participants will be entered into a lottery to win official movie merchandise, including:

  • 5 winners: Movie ticket card (Mubichike) (entry deadline: May 31)

  • 5 winners: Japanese version flyer & B2-size poster set

  • 10 winners: Original stickers

Organizers have also teased that more prizes will be added, encouraging fans to stay tuned for updates.
