Beckham Family Feud Takes Turn as Cruz Seemingly Reacts to Brooklyn’s Ad
- 439 words
The Beckham family feud has another interesting turn as Cruz Beckham reacts to Brooklyn Beckham’s DoorDash commercial for the FIFA World Cup 2026. Cruz appeared to take a subtle jab at his brother’s commercial while attending the England vs Ghana game with his father, Sir David Beckham.
The Beckham family feud continues as Cruz appears to react to Brooklyn’s controversial DoorDash ad
Cruz was seen attending a FIFA match in Boston with David Beckham when he posted a picture of himself on Instagram Stories. While he was looking down at his phone rather than at the match, David was fully invested in the game.
He wrote a story with the caption “Don’t worry, it was during the advertisement break ?

Brooklyn poked fun at his family in a DoorDash ad released for the FIFA World Cup, where he was seen giving World Cup tickets to a driver. He said in the ad, “You’re probably wondering why I’m watching the FIFA World Cup 2026 from home. It’s not like I don’t have tickets, Um, it’s because … it’s a long story. These can go to someone else. Put them somewhere fun.”
Reports suggested that David, Victoria, and some of Brooklyn’s siblings were unhappy with the commercial’s reference to the family situation. According to PageSix, a source stated, “To do an ad based on estrangement from family as if it’s a joke, when his family is devastated, and his sister and grandparents are inconsolable, is terrible.”
Brooklyn Beckham opened up about his family tensions in a lengthy January social media statement, claiming that his parents had “tried endlessly to ruin [his] relationship” with wife Nicola Peltz, whom he married in 2022.
Earlier this week, Brooklyn was reportedly upset over David and Victoria Beckham’s Father’s Day post, including him. He wishes his family would leave him alone and not tag him in posts.
None of the Beckham family members have mentioned anything about the Instagram story or the DoorDash ad.
