Tennessee basketball begins its SEC Tournament run with a second-round game against Auburn on March 12 in Nashville.
The Vols (21-10) lost three of their last four regular-season games, including a 86-82 loss to Vanderbilt on March 7. Tennessee did beat Auburn on Jan. 31, 77-69 in Knoxville.
Auburn (17-15) ran away from Mississippi State in the second half to advance to the second round.
The winner will face Vanderbilt in the quarterfinals on March 13.
