New Detroit Lions CB Roger McCreary describes his playing style as ‘instinctive & aggressive’
- 228 words
“That’s my first time ever playing in the playoffs, so I felt it was great for me,” McCreary said. “People always say the game speed is different from the regular season and it definitely is. I was excited just to play in that atmosphere, and I feel like having that experience can help you in a lot of ways knowing how the game develops and how people attack you when it comes down to the wire. I felt like it was great for me to experience that and I look forward experiencing that even more.
“I want to be part of something that’s a winning culture and I feel like that’s the vibe here.”
McCreary, 26, was drafted in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft (No. 35 overall) by the Titans. He started all 17 games as a rookie playing both outside and nickel. He transitioned to mostly playing the slot in 2023 with 11 starts and then mostly a reserve role in 2024 and 2025.
