CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – We should get a good amount of much-needed rain over the next couple of days from a front moving slowly across Middle Tennessee.
The highest chances of rain will be Tuesday night through Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service. Clarksville should get 1.5 to 2 inches of rain. This should help with our drought. As of April 30, Montgomery County remains under Extreme Drought conditions.
There’s a low chance of severe weather Wednesday, with gusty winds being the main threat. We’ll have a brief cooldown Thursday and Friday before things warm up again.
