Hillsborough resident Cathy Houle said the cool temperatures had her reaching for earmuffs and a puffy coat, but it was worth it to spend time with loved ones and honor the veterans in her life. “Even though the weather’s not that great, we’re together. That’s all that counts,” Houle said. Many are now hoping for clearer skies by the Fourth of July as the nation’s 250th anniversary celebrations continue. For those who missed events this weekend, more Memorial Day parades are scheduled Monday.
