The Cleveland Cavaliers are at home on Sunday afternoon as they host the Dallas Mavericks in an interconference matchup.
Cleveland enters Sunday’s game with a 41-26 record after defeating Dallas on the road on Friday night.

In Friday’s victory over the Mavericks, Evan Mobley led the way for the Cavaliers as he recorded 29 points and seven rebounds while Donovan Mitchell added 24 points and eight rebounds of his own.
Now Cleveland will try to grab another victory at home on Sunday as they face off against the Mavericks once again.
On the other side, Dallas enters Sunday’s contest with a 22-45 record after losing at home to the Cavaliers on Friday night.

Cooper Flagg led the way for the Mavericks in Friday’s loss as he ended the game with 25 points, four rebounds and five assists while Naji Marshall recorded 17 points, seven rebounds and three assists.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Sunday afternoon’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.
Mavericks Injury Report: Will Klay Thompson, Daniel Gafford Play?
For the Mavericks, they have five players listed on their injury report, including both Klay Thompson and Daniel Gafford.

Dallas has listed Thompson as doubtful due to rest and they are expected to sit him on the first night of their back-to-back.

With Thompson likely to be sidelined, Marhsall and Khris Middleton could both be in line for increased roles.
The Mavericks have also listed Gafford as doubtful due to an illness and he is expected to miss his second consecutive contest.

With Gafford likely to be sidelined once again, Marvin Bagley III could draw another start in his place while Dwight Powell could also have a larger role off the bench.
P.J. Washington has been listed as questionable due to left ankle soreness and he is in danger of missing his second straight game while Caleb Martin is probable and is expected to play despite dealing with a left finger sprain.

Kyrie Irving and Dereck Lively II have both been ruled out as they are set to miss the remainder of the season.

On the other side, the Cavaliers have six players listed on their injury report, including both Jarrett Allen and Jaylon Tyson.

Cleveland has ruled out Allen due to right knee tendonitis as he will miss his fifth consecutive contest.
With Allen still sidelined, Mobley, Thomas Bryant and Keon Ellis will likely both continue to have increased roles.

The Cavaliers have also ruled out Sam Merrill due to left hamstring tightness as he will miss his second straight game.
Craig Porter Jr. has been ruled out due to a left groin injury while Tyrese Proctor remains sidelined with a right quad injury.

Tyson has been listed as questionable with left ankle soreness while Max Strus is probable and is expected to make his season debut after missing the start of the year while recovering from foot surgery.
