Clemson coach Shawn Poppie is only in his second year with the Tigers and is gearing up for his third March Madness appearance. He previously led the women’s program at Chattanooga to two NCAA Tournaments.

The Tigers lost 60-46 to Duke in the ACC Tournament quarterfinals. But they proved they can compete with high-level teams after defeating Duke and Notre Dame in the regular season.
