The lottery announced that a player won $2.5 million from a Millionaire Jumbo Bucks scratcher ticket at a Lo – Lo Cigarette Outlet in Warner Robins

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — A lucky player won big at a Central Georgia gas station this past week, according to a press release from the Georgia Lottery.

The lottery announced that a player won $2.5 million from a Millionaire Jumbo Bucks scratcher ticket at the Lo – Lo Cigarette Outlet on Russell Parkway in Warner Robins.

According to the lottery, the player claimed their winnings on Friday. The press release from the Georgia Lottery did not name the lucky winner.

Under Georgia law, revenue from the Georgia Lottery is required to go towards education initiatives, such as Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship program. The lottery said players claimed more than $42 million from Georgia Lottery scratch-off games last week.

The lottery also highlighted one big winner from outside Central Georgia. A Marietta resident won $125,000 from the 100X The Money Quick Win game on the Georgia Lottery website, according to the release.

On April 7, a Treutlen County resident won the top prize from the Millionaire Maker scratch-off game, according to a previous release from the lottery. The million-dollar scratcher came from the Flash Foods on North Marcus Street in Wrightsville.
